We offer 2 versions of the coil (Doug)-type rife machine.

The "standard" model is the traditional coil machine design as it has been known to the rife community for years.

The "3D" model is based on the same operating principle as the traditional coil machine, but it contains some important new design modifications that have been invented by our company. These modifications make the magnetic field of the 3D machine more uniform over a larger volume.

The main components of both models are a QSC RMX 1850HD professional amplifier, and an Instek SFG-2004 digital function generator.

We build turn-key coil machines: every component is included in the quoted price. If you wish to use your own amplifier or frequency generator (or customize the machine in any other way), we will be happy to accomodate your requests. DELIVERY INFORMATION

Occasionally, we get a larger than usual number of orders at once, which may result in a short waiting period before a machine can be shipped.

Whenever the waiting time for a machine is more than 2 weeks, we accept a 50% deposit to reserve the customer's place in the manufacturing queue. This allows us to purchase the parts for the machine and start the manufacturing process ASAP. The second half of the purchase price is due when the machine is actually built - approximately 1 week before it is shipped.

 Desktop Standard Coil Machine
(The "traditional" coil machine in a modular layout for easier portability.)

The white cabinet shown in the bottom includes the control unit of the coil machine: the capacitor bank, the control switches, the current meter, and the connection terminals for the function generator (shown on top), power amplifier (middle) and the coil. The power amplifier and the function generator are included in the price of the machine. They are shipped separately and the user can connect them to the control unit with a couple of cables: like connecting a VCR and  a DVD player to a TV. All cables, plugs, and instructions to connect are included with the desktop. No technical skills are needed.

This machine requires ONE coil for operation. The machine can work with our special air-cooled coil, or a traditional "basic" coil. Coils are sold separately below.

The coil machine comes with a 14-page step-by step instruction manual, that makes it easy to operate.

NOTE:

Our customers have been asking us for a standard coil machine that is upgradable to the 3D model.

We are currently developing a stand-alone control circuit that will make it possible to connect two Desktop Standard Coil Machines to function exactly as the 3D machine. Customers who are interested in the 3D machine will have the option to purchase a standard model first, and upgrade it to the 3D later.

The 3D Coil Machine is temporarily unavailable.

 3D Coil Machine

This machine is a new, modified version of the traditional coil machine, developed by our company.

The 3D machine can work with one or two coils. It has two sets of capacitors (one for each coil) and a special electronic circuit we designed that controls the phase of the magnetic fields generated by the two coils. Without this control circuit the magnetic field of one coil would induce an unstable current in the other coil that could ruin the machine. This machine has wheels, so it can be moved around without lifting.

The 3D machine can be used in 3 different modes.

In Mode 1, the machine operates with one coil, and it generates the same magnetic field as the traditional "Standard" coil machine. The coil works at 15A. Click here for a diagram of the magnetic field generated by a single coil.
 
In Mode 2, the two coils are electronically coupled, and are used over the same target by placing one in front and the other behind the target (like a sandwich). This way, the two coils generate a single magnetic field, whose area is twice as large as the field produced by a single coil. In Mode 3, the two coils are electronically coupled, and can be used at right angles to each other to produce a strong rotating magnetic field that is equivalent to an alternating magnetic field in every direction simultaneously. The effect of a magnetic field on a target can vary depending on the orientation of the field relative to the target. The 3D machine in this mode affects the target equally from every direction, as if it was surrounded by several coils. This "modular machine" has no opening for the amplifier which has to be connected externally. Cables and instructions are provided. The function generator is built in. The 3D machines have much more electronic components than the standard machines, so the Modular 3D machine is still about 20" high. It can support the amplifier on top.

Air-cooled Coils

New Design, invented by our company

The wire in these coils is very tightly wound, so it produces a high-quality strong magnetic field the same way a "standard" coil would. However, it is interlaced with cooling tubes and supplied with a fan that keeps it at a significantly lower temperature than a "standard" coil, so it can be used for much longer duration. For details, see below.

The coils have a clear acrylic sheet cover, that does not interfere with the generated magnetic field, but provides extra protection for the user. The coil can be placed on any flat surface for easy use. The coils come complete with a 15 foot connecting cable and all the plugs.

Because of the cool-coil design, the machine can be run continuously at 15 A without overheating the coil (below 190 degrees) for the following time durations:

  • Below 600 Hz - unlimited
  • 1010 Hz - 15 min.
  • 1540 Hz - 8 min.

Since the coil has a fan, it is enough to cool it for about 15 minutes before it can be safely used again.
These coils have a 7-8 mH inductance. Other values are also available upon request. One coil is needed for the operation of the Standard and the Desktop machines. The coil cables, as well as the cooling fan cable, terminate in plugs that simply plug into receptacles on the front of the machine.

The setup and operation of the machine is very straightforward. We have never had a customer who found it difficult to use a machine.
